I always like men wearing dark jeans with a lighter button down shirt, maybe with a nice simple pattern in the shirt, either printed on it or in the embroidery.

There was a good discussion about black jeans a while ago. Try a search. Some disagree, but I say never wear black kicks.

I had a couple of friends who used to wear black jeans.  They never really matched them up to their outfits and it cemented the idea in my mind that black jeans aren't a good choice.   If you did decide to buy these jeans, which I wouldn't suggest, then you should wear something in the charcoal or blue (non-denim, non-chambray) color families to keep it cool and modern.   The contrast with light colored clothes is too dramatic for daytime, and the possible inclusion of anything red or green with black jeans makes me think of the '80s, or even worse, auto parts store uniforms.

black jeans are for rock bands. Pair them with some white reeboks to complete the look. Luc

Iron Maiden are doing a comeback tour....buy the teeshirt, insert cigarette pack in sleeve and consider the ensemble complete. Edit - just saw that youre 17 so you may have to get someone else to buy you the cigarettes

Sad to say I have an Iron Maiden "Number of the Beast" tee shirt and own 16 pairs of black jeans. Actually not sad, but very proud. So, can't wait for that Iron Maiden world Tour. My motton has always been over past 15 years - when I;m not in a suit and tie, I'm in head to toe black. The dressy jet black jeans look is nice but I veer away from the faded black jeans look. Only ever seen Keith Richards pull this one off (and he does look damn fine in skin tight black faded jeans for a, what, 55 year old?)
