I barely tolerate celebrities at the best of times so when a super chef hurriedly coughs-up over £800K for a 1948 Maserati to participate in this year's Mille Miglia, and crashes out (not literally, purtroppo...) before even finishing the first leg in Ferrara, ones heart surges with schadenfreude .
