Quite true. A little bit of cultural inferiority complex, IMO. I've always found it interesting that there are more Asian models portrayed in High Street clothing shops in Scandinavia
than in Asia. I saw my first Asian mannequin while travelling in Sweden(!) FWIW, many companies circumvent this by using what are known as 'pan-Asian' models - models that look part-Asian, part-Anglo.
