What does everyone think of the broken in tees? I have a few, I like that I can get tall sizes. The same to fit well, I wish the were a little slimmer in the waist. What do you all think of them? Any other brands comparable for the price?

Also, has anyone seen or have Jaspe jersey tee?

I think most of their t-shirt fabrics suck.

The jaspe jersey stuff is interesting though.

The jaspe stuff is stretchy like any other jersey fabric, but it has a more interesting texture and weave.

Their regular tshirt fabric is just way too light and feels like it should be used for undershirts instead.

Have not really found any that are fitted. The closest has been EG's short sleeve sweatshirts from S/S08 which were more like t-shirts than they were sweatshirts.

Wings and Horn's t-shirts from last year are pretty good too, but are not as thick. Not sure what this season's are like.

Probably worth it. Sales people told me it "never" goes on sale. Don't know if that's true, but it was enough of a ploy to make me pull the trigger.

Every once in a while they have an online code that's like 20% off any online purchase over $200 or something like that. Just buy some extra stuff to get the discount and return it to a local store.

Has anyone actually seen the Baracuta jackets in stores? I have been to a couple JCrew stores and they didn't have the Baracuta branded jacked, but rather had a less expensive Jcrew jacket that was more like a G4 style rather than G9. Strangely, this jacket is not on the web site. I also have not seen the Mister Freedom jacket in person. The stores I have been to are on 5th ave in Manhattan and also one in NJ. Seems strange! I haven't checked out the "liquor store" though. Is this the only store that carries the more expensive other brands?

I've also noticed that there is some stuff in-store not on the website, like the yellow raincoat that the Soho store has two of, in large only.

As sales clerks have explained to me, the store chain and the online store are something like two different businesses that fall under J. Crew. They often have things exclusively one place or the other. I think the Baracuta is one thing you can buy only online.
