If you can get those for $470, I would do it. I will be heaped with scorn for saying it, but I would buy these way before I would ever buy those Lobbs at NM, even to pay more $ for the Darltons.

ahh,my wife will leave me if I buy another pair of shoes this month

Yes, just not in the museum red. From looking at the pics another member posted they look very good in the red. Im just a fan of the shoe in general. Is it wrong to own the same shoe in two different colors?

Tamars came in today. very happy with them even though i missed out on the last pair of Luffields in my size (perhaps it was a SF member with a quicker dialing finger than me). i was kinda hoping they would come with shoe trees but alas...it was not to be

now if only the Vale could be had at this price

Lobb trees from their NYC store are $115 plus $15 for shipping -- an expensive option but one I took.
