That sounds good - where do you find the brandied cherries?

Thanks for the link, they definitely look worth the small effort. What quantity to you make them in? I can't see going through nearly a mason jar's worth in two weeks or so.

an old fashioned is nice when it's made well - which is a rarity. you need to usually find a specialty bar, otherwise the bartender tends to screw up a simple drink.

OFs are otherwise great because women tend to be curious about them. However, once women discover that you're drinking an OF, they often comment that the only people they know who drink OFs are their fathers or grandfathers.

My go to is a Canadian whisky and lime diet coke.

2 oz. of Tom Ford's sweat, freshly squeezed from a loud spread collar shirt, served over mercedes-shaped ice cubes.

Directions: take pictures for the internet, decide that it actually tastes like horse piss, force the bartender to re-make it five times. Each is so strong that after only one you'll make a complete ass of yourself on the internet and antagonize everyone around you. Cost: $4000.

Lately I have been drinking Knob Creek on the rocks. It's very dependable. I also like water just below room temperature, no ice, with a slice of lemon.
