How does everyone like the anthony sportcoat with silver buttons. Tried mine on with gray pants and felt like a security guard. Great fit and material. Very dark navy, pronounced shoulder, and not sure if I need to reads the silver buttons... Thoughts on how to wear?

You can always change the button

Maybe its just me, but somehow, I'd feel off wearing an Anthony cut sportscoat; the strong shoulder, seems a little bit more formal & lends itself better to a suit imho. I quite like the anthony cut on a suit nonetheless. I don't like metal buttons, I much prefer horn butons or textured horn for sportscoats.

I agree. The Anthony cut is very suit-like. Softer shoulder and softer fabrics make for better s/c's in my opinion.

Im been wondering with BL ending ,will some of this stuff end up in polo outlets??? If so at a lower price or the same, even though at those prices ,they seem to be wanting to sell everything (at least in the brick and mortar stores not online).

Doubt it - they have a Ralph Lauren Outlet in Woodbury, outside New York for that, where the stuff will most likely end up.

Aurora can't compare to Woodbury. Woodbury has more of the high end stuff. Woodbury is always having some type of markdowns.

I once read that the Polo outlets started refusing to stock BL and PL merchandise. The reason was that these were the most-stolen items and because the outlets run on their own P&L (perhaps even as a completely separate, wholly owned subsidiary) carrying the merchandise was actually negatively impacting the bottom line.
