Uniqlo Selvedge Denim!

Bought my first pair of selvedge denim today... They were at a highway robbery price at $19 a pair so I got a black and blue pair... both size 30. Hopefully I'll get some fit pics later. If anyone is interested I'd be willing to pick up some pairs and sell them for $$$ but I'll be back in US around January 3rd so if you want a pair tell me quick... I would be interested if you gave some info on them. I don't want to just buy them blindly.

Fit pic maybe? Run true to size? Rise measurement? Leg opening? Is there a taper or are they straight leg?

For the price these are by far the best jeans i own... if i could have (when i needed more jeans) i would have bought 3 pur... for the price these are a better investment then any apc's especially if your just starting up with raw denimz. imho.

kiya's making it sound a bit extreme, but yeah, if you're expecting anything like apc and god forbid japanese repro, then it's very lightweight.

It's actually not as light as it feels, but somehow they've managed to produce denim that's NOT lightweight that has a hand-feel of something extremely light.

I remember there's this measurement thing that people live by so if someone can get me a link to the measurement thing I'll gladly do some measurements on my pairs of 30s. I'll get a fit pic up in a little while.

The tagged price is 4990 yen (55 US) and I'm asking for $40.

Lucky you. I've been to 4 Uniqlo stores on my trip here to Beijing and none of the stores carry selvedge denim.
