The ascot really makes it....looks like something out of a Playboy fashion mag....hideous.
Hideous? I love all of the contrasting, expecially the pink sweater under the subtly plaid jacket. very "more is more" I think the tweedy wool jacket and the colors make it appropriate for a decadent country gentleman turned full-time debauchee. An outfit for a modern Sebastian of Brideshead or perhaps just plain old Anthony Blanche. Playboy is right, but not so much the magazine, which does have fashion sections with three-pleated pants, and lots of Ralph Lauren. I would take an ascot over a tie any day. I tried on the pants and the jacket in an HK YSL. The jacket was great, with contrasting buttons and epaulettes. Unfortunately single vented, so I didn't pick it up for the 1200 dollars they were asking for.
