Virtually anything. My brown cords are my most versatile pair of casual pants (jeans excluded).

I have this outfit in mind that I will put together some day: Chocolate brown cords, cream cashmere V-neck sweater from RLPurple Lable & chocolate suede laceups.

This YSL overly accessorized (well, luxury brands make a living out of scarves, luggages, gloves ...etc) model seem to wear a chocolate velvet pants, or is it corduroy ? .luc

cord, I tried them on in the store. I think they are a silk-cotton blend. very nice. Thin wale though, I know people don't like that.

I like the thin-waled corduroy. I had a pair by Bernard Zins that I wore out.

Ah... right. The shiny fabric must have been one of those luxurious silk/cotton blend. YSL used to do them with a cotton/cashmere blend as well... I like thin wale better as well. Bigger wales have always been associated to old people's corduroy for me. Anyway, how much were they in the store ? Luc

I have a pair of brown cords. One of the most comofrtable and well-fitting pairs of pants I own. You could wear them with a lot of things -- light- or medium-blue, light green, white, tan or yellow (if that's you) sport shirts, tan or medium-blue sweaters. Definitely dark brown shoes. Tony

Definitely cultural. I wasn't too sure about thin wale, but after seeing my husband summer cords, I'm sold. I like both, really, it depends on the interpretation.

Le velour à grosses côtes, ce sont les pantalons de mon père, ou ceux que je portais quand j'avais six ans. En effet, c'est très culturel Luc
