Oscar Peterson---one year gone

Today marks the one year anniversary of Oscar Peterson's death. We should all take a few minutes to spin our favorite Oscar record (I recommend Exclusively For My Friends and The Trio Live From Chicago--1961) and have a drink in honor of perhaps the greatest jazz pianist ever. RIP.

I recently discovered Soul Español. Something a little different for Oscar. He was such an expressive and joyful musician.

Oscar was great. I also recommend his SACD reissue series if you have Super Audio playback.
