^Don't get me wrong, I do feel better already. I mostly just feel guilty for breaking her heart and that we can't still be friends, I suppose. She was pretty cool.

So I got back together with her like a month ago for a few reasons, and it has been going great....but...she got the call a couple of weeks ago. She is being swallowed into the family business and moving to Montreal on Thursday...4 hours before my birthday, just to put some sting in it. I hate my birthday on a good year, but this one may be a record low. The departure may well be part of the reason we have been going so well...all the pressure is off. But still. Damn. About to go to her farewell dinner (we will have a private dinner tomorrow night on her last night here). Did I say damn yet? Damn.
