Just broke up with my girlfriend after 3.5 years.

surprisingly i am not too sad maybe cause it hasnt hit me yet?

it sucks cause she had all the traits i want in a gf: honest, generous, trustworthy, smart, bright future, was liked by my parents, cute face, nice body, and a good cook.

The only thing I fear is not being able to find someone with all these traits since I live in a city filled with idiots and underachievers.

she wanted the break to figure some stuff out i guess. Shes really stressed with school and work and everything and i guess she feels she needs to make some changes all around. we had a dumb fight on saturday and she feels like weve been fighting a lot more recently. So it was mostly her decision.

Bro, same exact thing happened to me. Like, word for word, exact same thing. Hopefully you handle it better than I did. I kind of melted down over it and am still not the same, and this was about three months ago.

Best way to get over anything is to keep yourself busy so you get your mind off it.
And the best ways to do that are with work or gym, you either get healthier and look better, or make more money (and since you're busy, you spend less)
