From the mid 90's until 2005 I had subscriptons to 35+ magazines to track trends, fashion, colors, etc., for my work as a publisher. Now my requirements are more modest.
Monocle (my new favorite and the only magazine I really ever read cover-to-cover)
Vanity Fair
Elle Decor
Vintage Guitar
Men's Vogue (it is so cheap I kept it)
In the last year I let my subscriptions lapse on:
GQ
Esquire
British GQ
British Esquire
Chap
Casa da Abatarie
Elle Decoration
Maison Francaise
I got tired of the US and UK men's magazines being so tied to advertising and instead now buy copies of Japanese men's magazines almost monthly including Free & Easy, Leon and Men's Ex. If you haven't tried them, do yourself a favor and get a few copies.
