What brand of luggage are you using? - Page 6

If anyone is interested in extremely lightweight luggage I recommend Heys.
Some of there stuff looks like it belongs on the space station but there lightest carry-on bag is 5.1 lbs.
They are a Canadian company. www.heys.ca

Hibernate is fine. While the computer is not completely "off", the hard drive is.

Thanks, good to know I'm not putting my machine at risk.

I currently have a Tumi Alpha, and it's great, except that it's a 22" when I should have gotten a 20". I'm now looking for an 18-20", but I'm searching for something more interesting and unique than Tumi.

Victorinox Werks 2 series 24" and 22" suitcases. I got them really cheap and I'm pretty pleased with them. They're lightweight and have good suiter systems. I always wanted a Mandarina Duck set but couldn't justify the price.

Check in luggage is Globe-trotter.
Hand luggage is Globe-trotter (trolley case) and Berluti.
I have been using Globe-trotter for many years, and love it. In terms of appearance, it ages very well.

Glaser Design for carry on....simply the best there is......

Doesn't matter what you check since they don't care and it probably won't show up there anyway!!

I have 2 North Face duffel bags that I've been using for the last 8 years (one medium and one small) - and they are going strong. They also have a lifetime warrenty in the event they ever do get damaged.
