Exactly. In the old house (built 1865) the heating has incredible difficulty dealing with all the tiny drafts and generally poor insulation of a house from that period (we added insulation 10 years ago as best we could, but there's only so much you can do). In the new house, we had the heat set at 60 degrees F towards the end of construction. At that level, the house felt appreciably warmer than the old house, whose heat was set much higher.
