I don't know how Jantzen makes a profit--though I don't think their fabrics are quite up to the level of the Acorn and Thomas Mason fabrics used by Chan. Nevertheless, as I said, Jantzen is certainly a better value--if they work for you. But over a year of placing orders with Jantzen, I've received one shirt with a decent but far from perfect fit and four additional shirts that had to be sent back. I'm now told that Jantzen never received them. I learned this only after calling three times. My e-mail inquiries were never answered. So I'm probably out the cost of those. At over $250 for the one shirt in my possession, Jantzen is not proving a real bargain. On the other hand, I've ordered one shirt from Chan--measured by Patrick Chu. Cost was $100. The shirt fits perfectly. I've now ordered 5 more because I know I'll receive them with reasonable promptness and that they will fit.
