meh i find the veyron atrocious, but you're right nothing can justify that price tag (or bugattis for that matter). my revised choice would be the Aston Martin DBS.

The original Tevas:

These were their very first model. I had a pair for over 10 years. Lived in them during the summer. Even had them resoled. They were the perfect sandal. If you fastened the rear collar in the open position, you could just slip your feet in and out like a thong, but they gave more support. W/ the collar fastened around your ankle, you could run in them. I searched ebay for a few years and finally bought a pair advertised as size 10. They were 9s.

as far as clothing goes:
Some deadstock selvage Levis... not LVC, actual Levis. Ohh and not from Ebay, I want to walk into a thriftstore one day and see them hanging on a shelf. I suppose its more the circumstances in which I find the piece as opposed to just the piece itself.

I would really like one of these when I open my lunch counter/burger stand

I'm not even a fan of Louis Vuitton, but after seeing and loving The Darjeeling Limited, I've made the luggage from the movie, particularly the overnight bag, one of my holy grail items. Too bad it was one off. Had they made ten, I might have a better chance of a piece floating around and finding it's way to me.

Not sure what my grails would be. There's a lot of stuff I'd like, but nothing has quite that combination of elusiveness and personal desperation that I think constitutes 'Holy Grail' item.

-1946 Lincoln Continental -Early 60s, unnaturally thin Omega's -fall 2007 Thom Browne overcoat (look, I'll admit it, they were way out of my price point) -and these. These are awesome:

I found one of mine this fall: the J.Crew spenser jersey shawl cardigan. I suppose my next big desires include a quality single-breasted trench coat like the J.Crew's Sutherland. And I wouldn't mind an authentic tan Barracuta G-9 jacket.

not the turbo s... it had the nasty rear quarter panel vents. just the standard 993 turbo, cuz I love turbo's and air-cooled porsche's.
