Yes. Sometimes they are OK, like after a cold round of golf. Most times they are not.

Wings, fries, potato skins as far as the standard American fare goes. I especially like places with wings that mix hot sauce with BBQ sauce...as long as the balance is right, those are the best.

A bowling alley/bar here in Athens, GA serves a beef on weck that the owner brought down from NY. Slow roasted beef, a large roll covered in kosher salt and caraway seeds, and some au jus type sauce with horseradish. I'm not usually the biggest fan when sober, but it's perfect when I've been drinking and want all those brash flavors at once.
