They were an impulse buy in line today at BB&B.

strange... I was also in a BB&B today, and saw the footpads...

picked em up, looked at them... and put them back.

I made fun of the infomercial, and also made fun of them in line at BB&B a few months ago. Let's have a review.

I've never heard of them. A review?

My fiancee bought a box of these. They're bunk. AFAIK the supposed impurities (turning brown after being stuck to your feet overnight) are actually the stuff in the packet oxidizing from contact with air. If you end up feeling better, it's just the placebo effect.

^ This is true. Just another scam.

This is weird. Why would a device be developed to suck impurities through some of the thickest skin on your body?

I haven't tried these, but isn't part of the gimmick that they're supposed to stop turning brown after you wear them a few days/weeks/whatever?

The color change is just oxidation. It's a scam.
So do they stop turning brown? If they do stop, what's happening? Can't be oxidation if oxygen doesn't turn 'em brown, right?

(I don't put stock in this, just curious.)
