Do you go to Strip Clubs?

I have always found the idea of going to strip club just for a drink kind of creepy. Sure for a bachelor party or something like that it is fine, but for drinks after work? Creepy.

Thoughts?

I've never been to one and I'll likely never go to one.

No I'm not religious and I'm not morally opposed to them, I just don't see the point. There's free pron on the internets and I have a gf. Why pay money to go somewhere to look but not touch when I can just go home, look, touch and finish.

Also, I haven't met many attractive strippers (and yes, I have met a lot of them, I live in Las Vegas).

It is pretty creepy to me. Never understood why people like to go to strip clubs. Sure I like boobies and booties as much as the next guy, but it's not like you get to bang the strippers.

When I was in high school, there was a strip club on "the block" in Baltimore where my friends and I would go occasionally. They would never check id's, and it was a $10 entry fee with two coupons for beers. It was a black club, with the occasional white girl, so we were a little out of our element. Actually, it added to the excitement. We had some seriously crazy nights there, and it was highly entertaining. Overall, it was awesome for 17 year olds.

Now... it just seems pathetic and a little creepy. I wouldn't mind going as part of a bachelor party, or as a once-a-year guys night out, but to be so casual as to go for a drink? No way, I'm not that desperate for titties.

I make about a once a year appearance usually during a night of extreme drunkeness and after much urging by friends.

Dude, "the block" is uber-sleeze!! You'll get the herps just by walking into one of those places! When I was a teenager we didn't even go down there - we went to NightShift. That place was BYOB so they never carded anyone.

In the last 10 years as an adult - there have been a few times (I can count them on one hand) where after a long night of drinking, the gang made a strip club our last stop of the night. I've only been to one bachelor party in my life and that was at Scores.

I think at that time, we figured the sleazier the better. Also, where else could you find what we called "The Ultimate Store." There you could buy pipes, bongs, knives, brass knucks, scales, crack pipes, blow up dolls, porn, fried chicken, alcohol, lotto tickets, and they even had some arcade games in the back. Our teenage minds were blown.

Twice, once in LA and in Vegas. I'm sure there are a few studs who can pull it off and bang a stripper (that isn't me). At that point, consider her a prostitute.

Not since I got hitched.

But in one sleazy dive in Orlando I got a table dance where the dancer bit the inside of my thigh. I had a hard time explaining that to the then-gf.

Generally, it was the sort of thing we did on the road or for bachelor parties. Blowing off some steam, but really not good for much else.
