Sharpened my razors yesterday, and set a bookcase in the kitchen to hold the wife's canning efforts. Anchored the top so it won't go anywhere. RAWR.

Well...I thought I sharpened my razors. They're not sharp enough.

Shaved with a double-edge razor with lather created with shaving soap and a badger hair brush. 

 

I'm sure that one has been posted more than a few times already though!

I put most of the stuff in the following picture on my Jeep. I ran into a pretty bad hangup yesterday that slowed everything down, so I couldn't get it all done before I ran out of daylight tonight, but I'll finish it up next weekend.

I will be replacing my water pump this weekend, but it's going to be damn cold and my garage is not heated.

Have you done a water pump in the Jeep before? I did one a few years ago, and it wasn't bad at all. The worst part was leaning over for the time it took to do it. Well, that, and the fact that I forgot to put the t-stat back in until after I'd put the housing back on and such, forcing me to undo some work.

Sucks about the cold. Trying to wrench with cold hands just sounds miserable. I was going to make a joke about sealing up the garage and running the engine to stay warm, but then I realized someone would completely miss the joke and give me a lecture, so I thought better of it.

I've done water pumps before, but not on the Jeep yet. I've looked over some videos online and it doesn't look too bad. Just a pain about having to remove the radiator and the fan.

I was actually going to mention the radiator, but I wanted to see if you'd done one before I said anything. You (obviously) have to pull the fan to get the pump off, but don't bother pulling the radiator. There's enough space in there to work, even with it in. It gets a little cramped, but it's still the better option.
