I was aligning a rear derailleur hanger and didn't feel the derailleur hanger alignment tool thread in right. I checked the tool and there was two flattened threads. The tool slipped out of my hand and promptly fell off pulling off the frame and stripping the threads on both the tool and the hanger.
So I went to the hardware store and bought the corresponding tap and die. The tap re-threads the female part, and the die re-threads the male part. I ended up re threading the hanger and tool's threads, saving the tool as well as the frame in the process and finished the alignment.
Went to a bar that has over 250 different beers to choose from and asked for "the manliest bear you have". Apparently that makes me a sexist monster and I got lectured by the waitress for not being gender sensitive. She then later made fun of my friend for choosing a "girl's beer" and said he should just get a cider. Feminists
I just stripped the ends of a length of welding cable with a home made blade, then hammered terminals on both ends. its not exactly manly, but I used "welding cable", "blade", and "hammered" so it must mean something!
