Well this kind of sucks, I'll call the gallery but from this thread I'm guessing there is really no way to get this painting.

Sure there is. Take out somewhere around $150-300k in equity from your home, purchase this painting or another of your choosing. (Based on his recent auction results.)

I dunno. She looks oddly like Leonardo Da Vinci.

I'd hit it though.

I believe this is a Duchamp painting although the version I saw was slightly hairier.

I found a place where I could get it printed that would look the way that I like. Does anyone know where I can get a higher resolution scan? Obviously that's what they used in the tv show since it's magnified. Also if not can I possibly blow this picture up using software (I imagine it is quite advanced now) so it is big enough to print. Thanks

Ok, I'm out of the cultural loop. I don't even know what CW is.

However, I'm talkin to this chick, who's kinda preppie, and who mentioned Brett Easton Ellis. So what do I need to know about him, or this series, or whatever

Now is a good time to buy such a piece as the price might have dropped a few tens of thousands of dollars, if last week at Basel Miami is any indication.

Check the link...the artist himself is going to appear on the show so obviously you are about as wrong as you can get about how he feels and how the art gallery would feel about the show.

I just can't help but reply. Software to 'blow this picture up', are you imaginging some type of Hollywood software where you say 'magnify' and it beings zooming in? Like you're the fuckin FBI in Bad Boys 2 or something?

And your best bet, and I don't know why I'm suggesting this since you wont' get it and I'm not going to explain it is to cut your losses and rasterbate the picture and throw it in a cheap frame, from a far it'll look like the real thing if you do it well enough.

Do you go to college? If so 99% of them have very large plotter printers somewhere on campus and you can upload the image to your school account and send it to this printer and get it made in very large sizes in as large of a file as you want so you can get it very high quality for free. I've done this to a few things in the past.

These printers are generally used for school projects and other school related things so make up something in your mind you'll claim it is for when you go to pick it up. This can save you a lot of money.

See if one of these places are near you....

RitzPix http://www.ritzpix.com/net/Default.aspx

On that page, go to pricing...scroll down to find "Big Big Enlargements"....they go up to 44x120...there's also an option for canvas.

Just a suggestion.
