This depends entirely on the event, my mood, and what is available. I run the gamut. Anything is fair game, save for drinks unsuitable to the event or the man.

club night out - start of with beer usually Newcastle Brown Ale, then move on to some form of spirit (usually JD & Coke or SoCo & Coke, Moving onto to shots of Luxardo Sambuca.
Drinks - Usually just a few normal strength Pints.
Getting slaughtered - 3 litre bottle of cider halved add the remaining half with beer. Drink from a straw! Shots of vodka

I know that it sounds shocking, but really it is very good. I put a piece of Göteborgs Rapé tobacco in my lip and sip the gin. They complement each other well because of the juniper berry. If good single malt whisky was not so expensively marked up at bars, I would probably drink this more often than gin when I'm out of the house.
