My favorite napkin is one I saved from a boiled peanut cart I particularly enjoyed.

Sounds kinda of dumb sorry but had to say it. Never was a fan of collecting stuff but something like foreign money sounds a bit more fun to be.

It's all about what interests you at deeper levels-- fine dining is a passion, hence my collections of Japanese knives, reidel stemware, wine, Scotch, and various other things. Also the need to hang something interesting and germane in my dining room. ~H

Thats the only thing I "collect". In my travels I like to bring back a few odd coins - the wierder they look ther better. I toss then in my golf bag and use them as markers until I lose them.

This past weekend I picked up an interesting napkin from a Chinese banquet hall which I was passing. I think that they assumed I was with the wedding party as I was weaing a taupe pair of wool Jos. A. Bank trousers, a pair of Bostonian black captoes and a blue button down shirt under a sage Joseph Lyman polo collar Merino's wool sweater and a camel tan car coat by an Italian brand which I forget the spelling of. Next week I am going to visit my uncle in New York and hope to acquire a couple more pieces for my collection although I will be traveling on a tight budget.
