This is an odd year. We usually have plans way in advance. This year, no plans yet. We might actually end up sitting home, or just going out for an early dinner, then a bottle of wine in front of the fire place. Or we could end up in Vegas on a lark. Or Santa Fe. For some reason, I've wanted to do NYE in Santa Fe for years.

If I was a betting man though, I'd bet in front of the fireplace, with one of those magnums I got this fall.

I will be in Las Vegas, with my Brother and a friend from Montreal who I haven't seen in 7 years. We don't have any plans or a destination in mind, but I imagine we'll be on the strip and close to a bar!

I also usually hate the NYE crowds, but New Years in Vegas I think should be one hell of a party!

I think i'll be in California, or at least I assume I will be there already, as I will be going to the Rose Bowl. Should end up partying at my uncle's or something.

My liver usually wins.

sounds almost like me haha

Want to stay in London as it will be the last year with all my highschool friends (+ others passing through), but as usual, I'll be with my best friend. Flying to Milan, dropping extraneous luggage, getting on the bus to his house at lake como along with about 20 of his friends. Should be some ladies there, and hopefully I can break the language barriers like I've done in the past...
and hopefully this international student joins us from belgium...

Bringing the shaker, so I suppose we'll stock up on booze. Will take some Pimms, which they can't get enough of. Occasionally do a boatrace or play some 5 a side footy... but i suppose we'll spend 4 days hammered in the end.

I'm down in Mississippi for the Winter. I'm 100 miles from New Orleans, so thought I might get in on one of the packages at a restaurant or hotel, but I'd like to see how bad it gets on Bourbon Street. It seems like every night there is a Jerry Springer New Year's Eve party, so it's got to be pretty bad on the real New Year's Eve.

Sugar Bowl is one of my favorite times to go to Nola. It's a good college crowd, and this year it's Alabama which is close and hasn't been in a big game in a while, so there will be a TON of hot southern girls. See if you can get a balcony room....unless you are 25 or younger, you probably don't want to be down on Bourbon street, but it's nice to be above. Last time I did that I stayed at the Westin which is right across the street from the Tropical Isle (home of the hand grenade). We brought about a dozen gross of beads and threw them down all night.. very fun.

Thank you for the suggestions - I'll have to look more into this.
