Pushing Daisies cancelled

I just read that Pushing Daisies has been cancelled. Not sure if that's from now on or just after this season.

I have to say I am really really disappointed with this decision by ABC. PD is simply one of the most inventive and creative and enjoyable shows on TV. It is well-written, well-acted, and the overall look of the show is different from anything else I see.

Instead, I suppose, ABC will give us another reality show or some cop show. Or lawyer show. Ugh.

I think there's just gonna be three or four more episodes. It's probably one of my favorite shows of all time.

yes, my fave network show (besides Gossip Girl). This show had so much imagination and creativity, great writing and acting. The sets and costume design are always amazing

unfortunately I heard that the final episode filmed ends at a cliffhanger, which will obviously never get answered now.

and wasnt PD up for a ton of Emmy's this year too??

Yes.

Well, in all seriousness, its ratings can't be too great to have been cancelled.

I'm hoping it gets picked up by another station. Maybe a cable channel.

maybe if *we* (fans of the show) all mail the producers pies they will keep it going, like Lipstick Jungle (after all the lipsticks they got from yenta fans)

It'd probably be better to just let it go. From everything I've seen, it would just be a poor bastardization of the original. When NBC cancelled Scrubs and ABC picked it up for the last season, I thought it'd be awesome. Everything I've seen or heard about it says it isn't going to be the same at all. It doesn't start for another few weeks, but it doesn't look promising.

Yes. It could appear that way on the surface, but it was actually quite dark at times.

This saddens me. How else am I supposed to watch the cuteness that is Lee Pace?

If Freaks and Geeks can get cancelled, than nothing is safe...

the show's creator says all loose ends will be tied up in comic book form

blah, like who's gonna read that

I thought the costumes were very nice--both the men and the women were well-dressed.

Not me. I think that's stupid. I'm going to hold out hope for another channel picking them up. Maybe Bravo.

I enjoyed it, and found both the women to be hot

On the plus side, Fuller has been rehired on Heroes so maybe there some hope for that show.
