Should I get these shoes? - Page 2

I had been watching that auction and wondering why no one had purchased the shoes up to now. Perhaps it was due to the somewhat larger size, or perhaps due to the styling (personally, I love the style). New Edward Greens at that price come along once in a blue moon. If they had been my size, I would have purchased them long ago. Enjoy. Jeff

I own them now. I'm part of the club. I'll let you know how they turn out. Thanks everyone for convincing me to do this, I have a feeling I won't regret it.
Hope you like them. IMO a great shoe for the price, but not my style. If that keeps you away from the other size 13's on E-Bay it will be better for me.

I've bought about 14 month ago a pair of EG "Shannon" boots from that same seller. Excellent, reliable seller and a very good deal for $250 BIN.

A sincere thank you to everyone who urged me to get these shoes. They came today, they fit perfectly, and they are beautiful. As I mentioned in my original post, I don't have many other "real" shoes, and while I might come to regret starting with such a fine pair, I couldn't be happier. My next step is figuring out how to take care of them, and I will turn to the search function for that. Thanks again.
