I'm not sure. It could also mellow with age. I love all the laphroaigs I've tried so far(10, Quarter Cask, and Cask), so I'd love to find out. They also have a 40 year which I believe is quite rare.

I know nothing about whisky, so my dream bottle would be of really good scotch (if $$$ were no object) to be drank with my grandfather on a week or two long trip to Scotland to play golf and visit where our family traces its heritage back to.

I'm not sure I have a "dream" bottle of wiskey. my favorite wiskeys are all under maybe 70 bucks, so I don't know I would go any higher than that.
