I trust I'm not the only member troubled by the apparent anti-Semitism of gratuitously using a performer's birth name against him. Some might say that avoiding this irrational and pernicious bias, which was the root of the greatest atrocity of the last century, would be impetus enough.

I don't know you and certainly have no reason to doubt you, but it seems unlikely that anyone free of religious or ethnic prejudice would make an issue of Stewart's original surname. Whether one finds him good, bad or indifferent, how is it germane?

The best answer I can give you is that the far left, seems to be led(financially and otherwise) by none other than prominent Jewish people e.g. George Soros, and just found Jon Stewart's hiding his surname a little "fake." Again, not the
reason I dislike Jon Stewart and his show.
