yes to both unfortunately. that combined with very little absorbed nutrition.

jeez...i would be overtrained beyond belief if i did that...the less i train the better i grow, which is hard to wrap my head around sometimes, but the scale and the poundages aren't lying to me.

You are supposed to take a week off every 8-12 weeks of training. You repair and grow when you rest.

just went back for first time since last sunday. felt good when i got there but it was hard getting motivated to go. this is why i never skip.

I took two weeks off and was a lot weaker in my lifts with the exception of the bench press. My pull-ups were the most pathetic thing I'd ever done in my life. Only managed 4 and was exhausted. I usually am able to complete 30 in about 4 to 5 sets. Not happy.

I think all that dedication and conditioning has given your body strong resilience to sickness. Good motivation to keep on going and more reason to be annoyed at my back.
