Is it ok to remove your jacket indoors when dining if you are also wearing braces?

What's this got to do with anything? Braces on your teeth?

one should stop reffering to himself in such a way as if he is writing an essay.

IMO no. For dinner the jacket stays on.

I don't think it is an option ever , braces or not.
It just has to be extraordinary hot to justify taking off the jacket - but if it is so hot I'd probably expect the problem and would wear a belt. Braces and no jacket is simply a no-go.

Huge 1+. Unless you are lending your jacket to a freezing woman, that jacket stays on regardless of what is underneth. And if you are wearing braces, the girl will simply have to freeze...

My understanding is that one should not wear a jacket while sitting. Just like when one is walking around the jacket should always be closed and not hanging around...

During dinners people will notice my scarlet red braces, but it is not allowed (etiquette) walking around and showing them. It is one of those pesky unwritten rules like not wearing button-down with a tie to work, etc.

However people with a public function on the tv should wear their jacket sitting (Larry King and Jort Kelder look rediculous.

There is no rule that you must not wear a jacket while seated for a meal.

In fact, many clubs have rules requiring that men keep jackets on...
