Looks pretty cool for configuring a potential buy. I have to admit that I don't see it being a ton different than using a regular computer and mouse but I guess it makes it easier to have someone else i.e. significant other or salesman, be right there with you rather than 2 or 3 people trying to crowd around a workstation.

As with most luxury products, I suspect this is just as much about presentation as it is for purpose.

True. There is that. I think a lot of places are just "showing off" with the novelty of the surface. I still see it as being the most useful in service industries e.g. hotels, restaurants, bars, etc.
