I went to one of the final day of the running of the bulls in Pampalona it was quite a spectacle, very exotic scene. You can buy parts of the bulls to cook from the meat stores afterwards. I never understood why people that eat hamburgers for lunch would be offended by it, much more real from that standpoint.

Yeah, I've seen them. I think they're cruel but also fascinating. It's not quite right to say that "the bull has a chance"--it has no chance to actually survive--but on the other hand, the bull definitely has a chance to fight back. In every fight, there's a very real possibility that a human will be injured and possibly killed; that's where the drama and excitement come for me.

It's cruel, but it's less offensive to me than the way we treat most animals we raise for our food. I wouldn't mind at all if they banned it, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

I went to one in Cancun years ago. No doubt it's inhumane, but that could be said about a lot of things - cooping chickens for eggs, slaughter houses in general, hunting. Different culture, different mindset. An associate of mine was in China the week before last and said that he saw dog on a restauarant menu. The woman who was with me in Cancun said the bulls were born to die so she wasn't upset about it, but she was on acid at the time and also enjoyed skinny skiing.

Okay, the last part is from Caddyshack, but the rest is true.

We kill animals all the time. So I can't see any argument that says we shouldn't kill animals, unless it comes from a PETA type, who is crazy but at least consistent.

Agree.

Fix'd
