24: Redemption

I missed this last weekend but just got around to watching and I am curious to get other fans of the series' thoughts. After it got a little out there last season, I am hoping S7 will be a welcomed return to more realistic plots.

Overall I thought Redemption was awesome but I am addicted to 24 and Jack Bauer, so I'm not objective in the least.

They are running out of ways to torture people.

Pretty good stuff even if it was slower paced then a regular episode.

Didnt get why those buisnessman backed the civil war with weapons but i guess they will be a part of the bad guy crew behind almeida during in season 7.

Jacks friend took the suide bombing as a real man to save those poor kids when he didnt have a choice.

If you seriously think that guy is dead, you obviously haven't learned anything from 24. Isn't this the third or fourth time Jack begins the season in exile or otherwise not employed by CTU?

I thought it was okay, although I find 24's use of music increasingly cheesy. Hopefully the fact that the writers have had time enough to think about it and the fact the season is entirely filmed before the first episode airs will mean we don't get plot twists like the Chinese burrowing under CTU or other stupid shit like that.

Bingo. I'll probably watch the premiere just because, but will just as quickly tune out if it gets ridiculous.
