I picked one up in a kind of greeny taupe, made by Corbin for Nordstrom, at a thrift shop a couple weeks ago. I am looking forward to wearing it this summer. It's fully canvassed, which I think may keep it in good shape longer than if it were fused. For some reason that issue seems to me like it would be even more important with cotton. Does it matter?
Corbin makes (made?) the cotton suits for a lot of mens shops over the years. They've always had a dedicated (if perhaps small) following, wrinkles and all. Pressing is for the parvenu; those who arrive (or were there to begin with), do so wrinkled. -- Horace.
