Looks amazing. Can you go into a little detail about why the price is so high?
The fabric and construction methods used were expensive. Things like the one piece underarm reinforcement (rather than having it in two pieces) requires an extra step in the construction, and so on. The high quality hardware is not cheap either... The retail would have been more except that Apolis ate some of their margin.
Waxed 12 oz. cotton? That has got to be one heavy shirt.
The combination of oiled finish and blue insides will probably yield a pretty kick ass patina. Looks like some quality idears were put into this piece.
I'm a little dazed that I've just paid this much for a heavy shirt, but it's like someone reached into my head and extracted exactly the kind of thing I'd want. I am powerless in the face of such things.
