I'm surprised no one has mentioned this:

For whatever reason, I can't post a picture of me in the above jacket in this thread, but you can go here:

Has anyone seen the Dockers harrington? It looks nice on the Amazon pics, but I'd be worried about fit and lining.

Baracuta closed their on-line store, Mercs have doubled in price. Options are getting slim!

ll bean has one, think it's a "microfiber jacket" for $69, if i'm looking at the right jacket.

Not terribly authentic and probably fits like most of their stuff - loose for active wear.

Orvis also do a blue and stone coloured Harry that looks nice - but would probably fit like a 90s G9.

I'm looking for a slim fitting mid/dark tan to khaki version, preferably under $100. I already have a FP maroon and Merc blue and sold my JtG Harrington.

Thoughts/experience on/with these?

Time to add a beige to my collection, though I don't want to look like GHWB on the golf course.

Bump!

I purchased this. Anyone know if Ben Sherman has different fits? Not sure how 22" translates to a casual jacket. In a coat it's perfect, but this...

Looking for a well priced.fitting Harrington as well. I ordered a Viper London (Relco) Harrington and its too damn puffy. Fits me like a flight jacket. Its going back.

So who makes the best Harrington, rather than the cheapest decent one? private white?

Based on the recommendations at the start of this thread I decided to try out the Merc Harrington. While it's a beautiful and well-made jacket I wasn't happy with how it fit me. I'm 6'4" and slim and need something with sleeves on the longer side and the Merc didn't quite cut it. Can anyone recommend a Harrington that would work for the taller among us?

Ben Sherman is a longer cut for sure. You could also check the stats on JtG - their older cuts sucked, but the quality and cut is much better now.

Thanks. Yeah, I will try the Ben Sherman.

Let me add that the body length of the Merc was perfect, just that the sleeves were an inch or so shorter than I like.

Forum affiliate Luxire will make you a custom one. It's a bit more expensive than the Merc at $200, and unless you know the measurements you want you'd be taking a flyer on an unreturnable jacket. I had them make me one and the fit is perfect, but it helps that I have had shirts made by them (I only specified the length of the jacket in my order; the rest were based off of body measurements and previous shirt orders). The nice thing is that they will follow whatever details you want. I had mine made like the g4 Baracuda, but they have a stock style they'll make as well. It will probably take time to get it, however. Mine took a couple of months.

That's something I've never considered before... and affordable. Care to share a picture of the jacket they made for you?
