Who will be watching?! Liza, Alanis Morisette and Ne-Yo are scheduled to perform. I, of course, will not be tuning in.

My god, she is a cow. And her makeup is awful.

My mom's watching it. I walked in when I heard them announce Alanis Morisette. What happened to her? I used to want to shagg her, but now....no thanks.

Not to mention the fact that his second post proved that he was, in fact, watching Rosie! Live.

I may watch it if Donald Trump is invited.

Why the producers keep going back to Rosie, trying to re-package the same ol' schtick as something new- its sad....

They didn't wait long enough for us to forget Rosie's shortcomings.

Fuck the world.

I really couldn't imagine anybody but you starting a thread with this title. That's pretty impressive.

They are most likely the same people who think it would be a great idea to bring back shows and movies from 20 years ago. Have we really run out of ideas?

I wait for the Wombles. Some terrific stuff there.

One can debate whether it was a good idea in theory—I, for one, miss old-fashioned variety shows, and do not hate Rosie, so I watched—but, in practice, it was horrendous. Rosie was stiff, phony, and put way too much energy into reminding us she was gay while simultaneously flirting with all her male guests. The writing and direction was abysmal, and the "talent" was mostly D-list celebs. I'm not at all surprised that the show was canned after one episode. A complete waste of time, money, and the entire idea of variety shows (since nobody is likely to try it again after this flop.)
