The cat's just cranky. Tell him they're made by an as-of-yet unknown artisan in a basement in Minsk using thread waxed on beeswax that was recently extracted from the tomb of the Pharaoh (pick your favorite) and you'll be fine.

The artisan is now known. Authorities recently whisked him away to a secret gulag outside of Gomel before any of his projects were finished. The beeswax remains in the basement near a small stack of clicked leather and hand-drawn patterns on what appears to be parchment.

Looks like the price inflation war has hit Andrew Harris -- Cleverley bespokes for a high-ish price:

Those are rare enough that I think they might fetch the price. If not I can always lower it...

If I remember correctly Ron offered those up for sale here - not in the B&S but in a random "Martegani Cordovan we'll make whatever you can dream up" thread. I think those were originally headed to the fairy.

Whilst that particular tie isn't my sort of thing, I do have one Donald Trump tie that I picked up from the B&S, in a yellow white and blue stripe that is actually very nice as a tie, great colours and ties a wonderful knot. And one I'd have been happy to pay the 45 usd retail.
