hello

Hello, it’s Wildsmith again. You may be pleases to know that the parchments are here, and also to your interest are a pair of George 6th riding/dress boots. You may ask how we came to acquired the boots, well the equerry of the palace for repair brought them in and then he unfortunately died, and we were told to hang on to them. i believe that they were displayed i the shop according to my father. We also have some boots that my grandpa bought back from a woman who’s husband had died, he only turned out to be a war hero, lol. They belonged to a C.H Sawtell, they have his shoetrees in them and his name engraved on a brass plate, and also bearing the bespoke name “M.Wildsmiths & Sons” the heart of the family history. I will post pictures if anyone if interested.

a lot of the AE's are in 9, more than any other size. Including samples for next year.

if AE's are beneath you, there's a john lobb derwent in UK 8E, which is about a US 9D (or maybe 8.5E, I'm not up to date on the various last conversions). ends in about 3 hours, less than 400. you might be able to snag it for 450 or so.

there are a couple others at UK 8EE and 8.5E
