I think it's mostly the odd heel pads that are causing me pause.

There is nothing dodgy about those EG shoes. They are rather old (probably late 80s, early 90s). Last 32 hasn't been in mainstream production for a long time. I cannot read the address on the boxes, it must be "˜Westminster-Works' (the current John Lobb factory). All EG shoes have a production number (unfortunately no pictures of the markings). The lower the number, the older the shoe.

The sock (heel pad) with the "˜joint-up EG' is typical for the period.

Judging by the sizing and the number of models, I bet it's a collection of OS floor models being cleared out.

Interestingly, the U.S. does not recognize 9ct gold as actual gold.

These look similar but much nicer than the ones that Hogspear was selling last week. The start price is considerably higher though. How much did Hogspears Lobb Boots and trees endinp up selling for?

These looked low priced till I looked at the pictures. They are crap! The seller is in Europe and sells older American shoes for amazingly high prices.

Sells isn't quite the correct word. "Lists" would be more accurate.
