(you're welcome)

I am newer to this board than most, so I may be missing something (if so, please tell me), but $400 for a well-used pair of recent Lobb boots seems very expensive... Is there something particularly special or sought after on these boots?

ripoff. 1) the seller has bad ratings; 2) rubber soles; 3) really used shoe

They're bespoke shoes from Lobb St. James. Thought they were an interesting curiosity. Sheesh. I'm not recommending people buy everything I put up here, you know... Besides, word on the street is that there's been some, er, inflation in the price of old Lobb boots recently...

Seller's rating looks pretty good. Other than that, yeah. But this thread is for interesting things, not necessarily all good as far as I can tell. It's about curiousities as much as anything else.

RJMan -

I hope you didn't think my note to be criticism. I was actually asking a question borne from my lack of expertise. I wear a 41-41.5 and was curious if there was something I was missing. Certainly no offense was intended.

Here's a full brogue version of the Drummond, in tan. Size 9.5E UK. Very cool.

Why the hell did I decide to get into this after I posted here?

We need an emoticon for "dumbass".
