There are people who would pay the $80 just for the beating with reeds, why not get a pair of shoes thrown into the bargain.

I've sold much the same shoe from the Studio Line, this appears to be a more substantial shoe and the insole would indicate the Ferragamo main line. All of that said, those shoes look pretty beat for that money.

MNS 10.5D ALLEN EDMONDS MCNEILL CARDOVON DRESS SHOES

A couple of points:

  1. It's spelled MacNeil, not McNeill
  2. Cordovan, not Cardovan
  3. It's not even shell cordovan.
  4. It's not the MacNeil, either.

Shows how much you know. A beating with reeds costs $65.

Yeah saw this one and had the same reaction. One of the most poorly labeled auctions I've seen.

It might just be a bad picture. But they don't really have that italian ferragamo "look" to them.

Waterpig pointed out to me that the nail pattern on these pretty closely matches these English made golf shoes I picked up the other day. http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...417#post893417
Anyone know if this is a typical vintage Grenson nail pattern, and do you think they match.

I got really excited when I saw these listed as 8.5 UK thinking they were my size until I read this:

"Please note the boots are labelled as US size 7.5D which is a UK 8.5D."
