Not for something like these, I'd think

They are on the 238 last.

And RMWs are definitely not better made. I think the consensus, such as it is, is that they're better value at full retail than the C&J chelseas. At a given price point, I'd take C&Js every time. It's just that the RMWs are readily available at half the price of the C&Js.

The man is clearly deranged. We should privatize this thread so he can rant about it in his disturbing "blog" as he apparently loved gloating about those Lobb button boots he "stole" from this thread.

It is the case this time.

No, in this specific instance, he definitely found these JLs here on this thread.

I saw a link to a blog whomewhat writes(mentioned by LK in his above post) about SF, on the FNB Forum of all places!

In his blog, he writes:

"Thanks to RJman, I found these early on. Now, given the search parameters that I utilize, I suspect I would have discovered these on my own anyway, but it is sure sweet to know that Style Forum helped me get these."

At least he "Thanks" RJman

He has quite a few pithy observations about SF and it's membership in his blog, and he's delighted to have SFers read it. He says "Quote" I have been banned from the site for quite some time now and therefore cannot post anything about anyone. "Quote" So I guess his remarks are a form of rebuttal that he wants read:

Here's whomewhats blog about styleforum

Note that in his August 16th blog entry he calls me "a dipshit" and " a piece of shit"! Doesn't sound like the words of a_distinguished_gentleman. But I'm in good company since he spews his anger at many, many SFers.

No problem, I just consider the source. He's a very troubled distinguished_gentleman, but I wish him well. As I've always said he has a talent for buying low and selling high on Ebay. That is to be commended.

If you read the blog you will see how upset whomewhat becomes when someone says that he "steals an item"!

Here is a quote from an auction of his that just closed:

"And at an original cost somewhere north of $5K, you can steal it here!"

I don't see how or why the thread should be privatized.

ADG does make some good points in the blog. If he's quicker on the trigger than anyone else, then so be it.

If he wants to lurk as a banned member he has the right.

A Harris and EL72 made good points defending his actions.

I'm 100% for SF, and think it's a wonderful place and resource with great people.

If ADG chooses to denigrate the forum in a blog and to find items on the B & S thread, so what!

As I said he called me a "Dipshit" and "A piece of Shit", but I just think it puts me in good company along with what he says about most of SF.

That blog is a serious lol. It's like listening to an old lady bitch for hours and hours about a store refusing to honor a coupon.

Your selective bolding is sort of misleading. He would have found them if he has half a brain in his head and can set up a search function and use it. Pepole here rag on him constantly so he's busting everyone's balls about seeing it here before finding it on his own. Who cares.

Hmm, that blog is weird. Apparently my 'provide a little competition' remark was taken as some personal challenge. I was going to send him a message via ebay, just to 'make peace' but decided against it. I guess it's not going to make things any better. The internet is an odd place, personalities tend to clash even when both parties have the best of intentions.
