carroll and co, suede monstraps, currently $75, below reserve, ending in 3.5 hours, I'm thinking these are C&J though when I look at the nail pattern and compare it to the heel/nail pattern thread, they look like lobbs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=230217879014

I bid on another pair of Carroll shoes from the same seller. Reserve wasn't met at almost $140.

I will probably throw in a bid on these too, though I doubt the reserve will get met.

well, I suppose if they are lobbs (or c&j), its a nice deal at < $200. But I don't have to tell you that...

i had noted before that the seller told me the reserve was 175

True, but suede often does terribly on eBay. I'll be very impressed if the bidding hits $175, especially considering the lack of name recognition.

right, but that works in your favor if you want to wear them. I suppose if you are flipping them, it doesn't work...who do you think is the maker?

I'd just be buying them for me. But the last time the reserve wasn't met, the seller kept the shoes. If he really wants $175, I can only wish him good luck. Maybe he'll get one of the guys who went nuts for the Facconable monks.

Not sure who made 'em.
