I don't think anyone in NZ would bother making or selling fake C&J's, though.
Hardly anyone would recognize C&J here anyways.
Perhaps an old model?

I am suspicious of whether these are the real C&J that were made in England. There was a discussion thread in AAAC about some C&J were licenced and made by a South Africa shoe manufacturer.

Here is the thread

Thanks for the info.
Given the South African presence in NZ, I wouldn't be surprised if they were made by the SA company.
Is there a reliable way to spot SA C&J?

It's an old C&J logo.

Not FAM, but a real nice looking Santoni at that price...

Santoni Brendens - NWOB. Doesn't really look "new". Sole seems scuffed and the tounge seems like it got wet - or someone with real sweaty feet dreched it. What's the deal here?

clearly, not NWOB. clearly refinished soles, therefore this a shady seller, and you should stay away.

Does anybody have experience on the fit of these Grenson Footmaster Chelsea Boots in 7G UK? Would they be an 8E in US? Any info on the fit is appreciated.

more like an 7EE or EEE. I find a grenson 9.5F is like an US 10.5E.

Just curious, what would you call a pair of shoes that were customer return, but got refurbished by Nordstrom in-house cobbler? That type can be had at Nordstrom Rack, IIRC.

Thanks NoVaguy, so to make sure I understand.

If they are a UK 7G would that make make them the equivalent of an US 8EE or EEE

here's an interesting story, one tramezza is 11 and the other 11.5, this would work for me but I think it would be difficult to get used to the odd fit...good price if you think it would work for you http://cgi.ebay.com/Mens-Ferragamo-T...em320177943555

I doubt it, but it depends. Heavy presumption would be not new, but it can be rebutted with evidence.

But really, that shoe in question has been worn - you can easily see the irregular transition on the sole from the scuff portion which has been covered up with weird stuff.

Light brown slip-ons with toe medallion. I'd Topy 'em right away and then give them a good polishing/refurbishing.
