all worn and refinished Rack shoes are 70 dollars.

however , there is a range of conditions of worn and refinished. some are absolute junk.
once in a while you will find a decent one or a more than decent one.
every blue moon though you can find an absolutely brand new shoe but "worn and refinished"

this one on auction is a more than decent one.

Zegna Couture size 8 loafers for $135 BIN. Hard to see the nail pattern on the sole to ID the maker.

They could go to dinner together, the Sockettes. It could be a threesome if SoCal2NYC's gentleman friend joins.

You should try stripping them. There's a much nicer shoe underneath. Mine don't feel bad on the feet at all -- at least no worse than other vintage U.S. made shoes I've tried.

I sold mine without wearing them, so I can't speak to the experience (I hope the buyer is enjoying them, at least), but here is my post on the quick and easy method of stripping these and building them back up again.

These seem to be going rather cheaply with under an hour and a half left. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=160164454488
