I'm tempted, but have a pair of Grensons that are identical. And I paid $50 more! Kinda chaps my bals, as it were.

EDIT: Just realized that the seller mentions a darker spot on one captoe. Wonder if a bit of polish would take care of the problem.

I looked at the pictures very carefully. I think a little polish with a darker shade would yeild a very nice result if the patch would not get cleaned off. The shoe begs for an attempt at antiquing....the foundation is solid, and the price is exceptional.

A bit of discoloration on the toe but still an awesome deal for the Tramezza Daniely. They run pretty narrow though so I hope the buyer knows that.

I'm sure it's someone who watches the forum...hopefully we can convince him to post pictures in the porn thread.

When I'm the first bidder and I don't intend to bid a lot higher than the starting price (or if the starting price is low), I'll sometimes just place my bid to stake my "claim" to the item. Maybe it makes other forum members back off...maybe it doesn't. I just think that it has more value to stake my claim than to snipe in a situation like that.

Obviously, when one looks at the other bidder's bidding strategy, it becomes clear that I should have done a snipe instead. There's still time...
